In 2007, Elitsa Todorova and Stoyan Yankulov were the first to use the Bulgarian language on an ESC stage, and coincidentally they also were the first Bulgarians to qualify and finish in the top 5 of a Eurovision final.
2008
Deep Zone will play the Bulgarian entry, and after a 17 hour 28 minute long intro, Balthazar will join them on stage and sing DJ Take Me Away.
