The Romanian entries are known to be visually interesting, with elements such as angle grinders, French berets, and women in undergarments visible on stage.

Nico, the Romanian equivalent to Olivia Lewis (when it comes to NF attempts and singing abilities) has finally made it to Eurovision by hitchhiking with Vlad Mirita. They will sing the sanremmese ballad Pe-o margine de lume, mostly in Romanian but with an Italian second verse and ending.
