Useful Information About Poland
Poland is a large country that rolled over and basically opened its legs to every conquering force in history.
Nothing too interesting goes on over there, a fact that is clearly reflected in the nondescript entries they tend to send to the Eurovision.
The country made a glorious ESC debut in 1994 while scoring 2nd place with fan-fave To Nie Ja, but has since steadily slipped to the lower rankings of subsequent years.
Famous Poles:
North, South, Lech Walesa, Pope John Paul deux and an orange American rabbit.
Poland
in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009
Lidia Kopania won the Polish national final with the ballad "I Don't Wanna Leave". The studio version is suspiciously different to the live, in both vocals and English pronunciation.
